Your Role:

As an Accounting Specialist, you will:

• Record, prepare, verify, and report financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Perform analysis and reconciliations of General Ledger (GL) accounts to detect fraud and support audit assessments.

• Execute monthly fixed asset registration, depreciation processing, asset disposal in NetSuite, and monthly amortization reporting.

• Prepare month-end and fiscal year-end closing reports covering prepayments, CAPEX/assets, and high-volume journal entry adjustments.

• Act as a project handler and point of contact for NetSuite, BlackLine, and other accounting-related systems and processes.

• Oversee critical GL accounts, apply basic tax rules (VAT and Expanded Withholding Tax), and prepare ad-hoc financial reports for internal departments.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting and audit functions.

• Solid understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and accounts payable processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Basic working knowledge of local statutory taxes, including VAT and Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented, and communication skills.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP and accounting tools (Oracle NetSuite, BlackLine, SAP Concur).

• Demonstrated experience handling fixed assets, CAPEX, and automated reconciliation workflows.

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, dynamic, and fast-paced BPO or shared services environment.
