Your Role:
As an Corporate Financial Analyst, you will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities while providing meaningful financial insights that help drive strategic business decisions. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to analyze business performance and improve financial planning processes.
Specifically, you will:
- Support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities across multiple business units.
- Analyze operating expenses, financial performance, and key business metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Contribute to the preparation and validation of the annual corporate budget.
- Develop and maintain financial models that support business planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Prioritize multiple projects and reporting requirements while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Participate in financial process improvement initiatives and prepare ad hoc financial analyses and management reports as needed.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial analysis, or corporate finance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
- Self-motivated with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to senior stakeholders.
- Results-driven with a proactive approach and strong business acumen.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Solver, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFA) or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
