Your Role:

As a Senior People Rewards Specialist, you will:

  • Process and monitor government benefit claims including SSS sickness, maternity, EC, disability, and unemployment.
  • Validate employee eligibility, required documentation, contribution history, and employer certifications before formal submission.
  • Submit and track claims through applicable statutory agency portals, branches, and internal corporate workflows.
  • Prepare and reconcile timely monthly statutory remittances and loan files for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG against payroll records.
  • Investigate and resolve account variances, rejected postings, unposted payments, and discrepancies reported by agencies or employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, managing service tickets within established SLAs.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and Finance teams to align remittance schedules, funding, and final pay deductions with statutory deadlines.
  • Ensure all benefits activities strictly comply with Philippine government regulations, internal controls, and data privacy standards.
  • Maintain confidential employee records within the HRIS and support internal, external, or ISO audit checks.
  • Draft employee communications, advisories, and FAQ guidelines to streamline the claims process and improve the employee experience.
  • Support broader Total Rewards initiatives, data reviews, and vendor coordination as needed to optimize operational efficiency.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of progressive experience handling corporate benefits administration, with a strong emphasis on Philippine statutory systems.
  • Deep functional knowledge of end-to-end processing rules for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG claims, contributions, and loan deductions.
  • Proficiency in executing data validations, structural calculations, and financial reconciliations using Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex government guidelines into clear, employee-friendly instructions and resolve vendor/agency disputes.

Preferred skills/expertise

  • Hands-on experience navigating online agency portals (e.g., SSS Settle, My.SSS, PhilHealth EPRS, Virtual Pag-IBIG).
  • Prior experience working within a BPO, Shared Services, or fast-paced corporate environment in the Philippines.
  • Familiarity with processing employee data migrations or leaves administration within localized HRIS and Payroll tools.
