Your Role
As a Property Management Accounts Admin, you are responsible for:
Invoice Entry
Overdue invoice audit
Direct debits – setup, adjustment, uploads
Mid/End month processing
Water/rate accounts
Daily bank statement/dishonours
Managing over paid rent
General account issues (ie reimbursement to owners, change of commission, adjustment of tenant vacate dates etc)
Insurance renewals - creditors
Lost management checklists and finalisation of computer file
Setting up new creditors
Arrears rent/water – first contact SMS
Meeting minutes information
New management checklists checked off
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or recently completed training in accounting or equivalent education in accounting
Strong numerical skills and the ability to understand and work with financial data
Demonstrated ability to handle numbers, even without formal accounting training
Practical experience or knowledge in specific accounting areas, such as trust accounting, is highly valued
Open to candidates without formal accounting experience, provided they can demonstrate proficiency in numerical and financial tasks
Enthusiasm for learning and the ability to quickly adapt to new accounting practices and procedures
Have previously worked as a virtual assistant for Australian business is an advantage
Experience working in an administration position in the Australian Real Estate industry is a plus
Preferably with experience in Property Me or any property management software
Experience in any CRM Software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Honest, reliable with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work independently as part of a team
Can easily adapt to change
Ability to adapt to new software and administrative tasks effectively
Able to achieve deadlines and show good attention to detail
Can handle corrections and have self-responsibility
Able to manage time and prioritize workload according to business requirements
