Your Role

As an SEO Specialist, you will independently manage client accounts from initial research through campaign execution and ongoing reporting.

You will:

• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits to develop data-driven strategies
• Optimize website content, meta tags, and internal linking structures, including schema implementation
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues in collaboration with development teams
• Develop content calendars and briefs, and create or guide SEO-optimized content
• Execute ethical link-building strategies and manage local SEO (including Google Business Profile and citations)
• Manage multiple SEO campaigns simultaneously while maintaining timelines and identifying growth opportunities
• Track and report performance using GA4 and Google Search Console, translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Act as the main point of contact for SEO-related client communication, including strategy reviews and performance updates

What You Need

Non-negotiables:

• 3+ years of proven SEO experience with measurable results or case studies
• Strong proficiency in tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar
• Solid experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
• Experience with WordPress SEO tools (Yoast, RankMath, SEOPress)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex SEO concepts for clients
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts independently in an agency environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Australian local SEO and familiarity with the AU market
• Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications
• Strong analytical mindset with close attention to detail and problem-solving skills
