Your Role:

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will:

  • Execute systematic User Acceptance Testing (UAT), follow functional test scripts, document software anomalies, and validate system performance against project requirements.
  • Perform data reconciliation using advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets functions, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables.
  • Cleanse and prepare large datasets by identifying duplicates, correcting naming inconsistencies, and standardizing data before system integration.
  • Monitor data processing flows and validate information across backend databases to identify potential data quality issues.
  • Prepare clear analytical reports summarizing data validation results, trends, and identified anomalies.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities, data validation results, and system issues.
  • Communicate technical updates and findings clearly through email and other collaboration platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and international project teams to support successful project delivery.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

  • At least 1–2+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Processor, Quality Assurance Specialist, or in a similar data-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience with system testing, UAT, and technical documentation.
  • Proven experience handling large datasets or raw spreadsheet files with a high level of accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and logical functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written English and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly.

Preferred skills/expertise

  • Basic knowledge of SQL database querying.
  • Exposure to lightweight programming or scripting concepts.
  • Experience with backend data validation or system monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Zoom for remote collaboration.
  • Background supporting software implementation, data migration, or system integration projects.
