Position: Call Center Representative (Healthcare) - Intermediate

Location: Bogotá, Colombia

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative with a background in healthcare to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of healthcare operations, and experience handling patient intake and triage efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

● Handle calls related to patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and healthcare services.

● Conduct standard triaging to determine the appropriate level of care or next steps for patients.

● Perform accurate data entry for patient intake, ensuring all information is properly documented in the system.

● Maintain wrap-up time under 60 seconds after each call to ensure efficiency and service quality.

● Adhere to established accuracy and productivity standards .

● Manage sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

● Collaborate with internal teams, providers, and administrative staff to support smooth patient coordination.

● Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional tone at all times.

Qualifications

● 2+ years of experience in a healthcare call center or similar environment.

● Knowledge of medical terminology , triaging procedures, and patient intake processes .

● Strong computer and data entry skills with attention to accuracy.

● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Strong understanding of patient privacy and compliance standards.
