Your Role:

As a Healthcare Call Center Representative, you will:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and healthcare services.
  • Conduct standard triaging to accurately determine the appropriate level of care or next steps for patients.
  • Perform precise data entry for patient intake, ensuring all crucial information is properly documented in the system.
  • Maintain an efficient post-call wrap-up time under 60 seconds after each call to ensure high service quality.
  • Manage sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality, strictly adhering to established accuracy, productivity, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to support smooth and seamless patient coordination.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional, empathetic tone at all times.

What You Need:

Non-Negotiables

  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare call center or a similar professional environment.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of medical terminology, triaging procedures, and patient intake processes.
  • Solid understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.

Preferred Skills/Expertise

  • Strong computer proficiency and rapid data entry skills with exceptional attention to accuracy.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.
