Your Role:

As a Senior C++ Engineer, you will:

• Modify and extend Chromium source code to support a secure, cloud-based remote browser solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance browser remoting and display capabilities.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance C++ code in a Linux environment.
• Debug complex distributed systems, investigate root causes, and resolve defects based on bug reports.
• Implement and maintain unit tests using frameworks such as GoogleTest to ensure code reliability and quality.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• 5–7 years of experience developing C++ applications in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in modern C/C++ (C++11 or higher) and strong object-oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience with Linux development tools (git, gdb, g++/clang).
• Experience with Linux shell scripting (Python or Bash).
• Strong debugging skills and a commitment to clean, maintainable, and well-architected code.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience working on open-source browsers such as Chromium or Firefox.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with development and CI/CD tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• Exposure to secure browser technologies, remoting protocols, or virtualized environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
