Your Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Record, prepare, and verify financial transactions in strict accordance with corporate policies and compliance procedures.

• Analyze and reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts to identify discrepancies, assess risks, and proactively detect fraud.

• Execute and manage monthly amortization workflows alongside high-volume journal entries for adjustments and fixed assets.

• Oversee the monthly registration, depreciation, and disposal tracking of Fixed Assets within NetSuite.

• Deliver accurate month-end closing reports covering Prepayments, CAPEX, and corporate asset portfolios.

• Serve as the primary project handler and point of contact for NetSuite, Blackline, and other core accounting systems or process overhauls.

• Manage critical accounts and ensure the proper baseline application of VAT, EWT, and applicable tax regulations.

• Generate ad-hoc financial reports and answer inquiries from various internal business departments.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong hands-on experience handling complex General Ledger (GL) reconciliations and full-cycle Fixed Asset management.

• Proven technical proficiency using NetSuite and Blackline platforms.

• Solid experience navigating high-volume journal entries and complex month-end closing routines.

• Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for fraud assessment and financial discrepancies.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is a strong advantage.

• Working knowledge of Philippine taxation rules, particularly Value-Added Tax (VAT) and Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT) applications.

• Excellent cross-departmental communication and ad-hoc reporting capabilities.
