Your Role:

As a Staff Quality Assurance Analyst, you will:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases across functional, regression, performance, and integration testing
• Analyze client and system requirements, clarify ambiguities, and ensure all deliverables meet business and technical objectives
• Maintain reusable QA artifacts including test plans, scripts, data sets, and summary reports
• Conduct test result reviews and facilitate defect triage and root cause analysis, documenting findings in Jira, ALM, or similar systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive QA coverage, requirement validation, and high-quality releases
• Partner with clients to understand business needs, facilitate discovery sessions, and translate requirements into test designs
• Lead QA workflows end-to-end, ensuring traceability, accountability, and proper documentation for every release
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate impact on QA outcomes and customer satisfaction
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by refining QA processes, automation frameworks, and documentation practices
• Mentor junior QA staff and support knowledge transfer across the team
• Monitor project and service delivery outcomes, recommending course corrections when necessary to meet customer expectations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and company policies

What You Need:

Non-negotiables:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and documentation standards
• Experience working with Windows environments and transactional databases such as Oracle
• Proficiency with scripting languages including XML, HTML, JavaScript, VB, C#, and Python
• Skilled in using QA automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or SoapUI
• Ability to create and maintain test environments and configurations
• Proficiency in SQL Developer, Excel, and defect tracking systems such as Jira or ALM
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred skills/expertise:

• Knowledge of healthcare IT systems or claims processing
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB, CAST, or AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Experience in Healthcare IT or claims processing industry
• Strong customer focus with consultative skills to ensure quality outcomes
• Experience working in a remote or hybrid setup with cross-functional teams
