Position: HR Resource Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

General HR Administration

  • Coordinate all HR processes effectively to ensure optimal customer service.
  • Assist with HR enquiries and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Complete monthly HR reports and coordinate HR accounts and invoices.
  • Sort HR mail, relate relevant company info to team members, and handle HR projects.
  • Ensure all information is kept confidential.

Recruitment

  • Respond to enquiries regarding vacant positions from Team Members and the public.
  • Coordinate job advertisements (e.g., on Seek).
  • Coordinate and distribute information kits for all new Team Members.

Payroll & Workers Compensation

  • Collate contract request documents and create contracts.
  • Ensure payroll information is accurate, confidentially processed, and forwarded on time.
  • Keep Team Member files current and concise.
  • Ensure workplace incidents are reported and Workers Compensation Claims are sent for processing.
  • Liaise with Rehabilitation Co-ordinators on Return-to-Work plans.

Recognition, Rewards & CSR

  • Complete certificates and coordinate prizes for SHTM quarterly.
  • Manage the Preferential Stay database.
  • Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) calendar functions in collaboration with property GMs.

Communication, Training & Development

  • Ensure department policies, procedures, rates, and general hotel info are understood and observed.
  • Participate in induction, skills training, and organised meetings to foster high morale and collaboration.
  • Prepare and participate in the 6-month probation and annual Appraisal Process.
  • Stay updated on relevant software systems, new products, and industry trends.
  • Handle guest complaints with urgency and resolve them within your authority.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Follow all safe work procedures, manual handling techniques, and emergency/fire evacuation protocols.
  • Report any health or safety hazards, near misses, incidents, or repairs to the Manager on Duty within 24 hours.
  • Treat customers and team members with respect and sensitivity, treating complaints of harassment and discrimination confidentially.
  • Maintain appropriate sanitation, hygiene, and utilize provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure internet and email usage complies strictly with IT policy.



Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource is desirable

Experience:

  • At least having 2 years working experience in similar role

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Sophisticated communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maturity to deal with people at all levels of the organization and demonstrated ability to relate effectively to a diverse range of people.
  •  The ability to be hands on with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business
